Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move easily, such as athletic pants, shorts, or leggings with a comfortable top. Your appointment may include an assessment of your posture, breathing, strength, mobility, and movement patterns, so choose clothing that helps you feel comfortable and confident. If any specific clothing is recommended for your appointment, you will be notified beforehand.
-
Telehealth appointments take place through secure video and may include education, movement assessment, exercise guidance, symptom-management, and an individualized treatment plan. You must be physically located in North Carolina, Virginia, Florida, or Georgia during the visit.
-
Yes. Many pelvic health concerns can be effectively addressed through telehealth. Your visit may include a detailed history, movement and functional assessment, education, breathing and pelvic floor coordination, therapeutic exercise, symptom-management strategies, and an individualized home program.
Telehealth also allows us to work within your actual home environment using the furniture, space, and equipment available to you. If your needs would be better served by an in-person examination or another healthcare provider, we will discuss that with you.
-
Telehealth appointments are currently available to patients who are physically located in North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, or Florida at the time of their visit. If you live in or plan to attend your appointment from another state, please reach out. I am open to expanding telehealth services and can discuss whether care may be available in your state.
-
For your telehealth appointment, choose a private, comfortable space—preferably in your home—where you can move, exercise, and speak freely. You will need a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera. Wireless headphones can be helpful for privacy and ease of movement, but they are not required.
No special exercise equipment is necessary. However, please keep any equipment you already own nearby so we can incorporate it into your treatment when appropriate.
-
For your in-home visit, a portable treatment table will be provided. If possible, please have a private area with enough open space to temporarily set up the table and move comfortably.
Please have the following items available:
Two flat sheets
One towel
One pillow
Any exercise equipment you already have at home
No special exercise equipment is required. We can adapt your treatment to your space and the items available to you.

How many visits will I need?
Everyone’s needs are different, but many patients benefit from approximately two to five visits. Your progress will depend on your condition, goals, and consistency with your home program.
Our approach is designed to help you become confident managing your care independently. Rather than relying on clinic-based equipment or ongoing hands-on treatment, you will receive practical education, exercises, and strategies that can be used at home. We will reassess your progress, adjust your program as needed, and help you build the skills to continue successfully on your own.
