After more than 15 years as a physical therapist, I created Carolina Core Physical Therapy to offer care that feels personal, practical, and unrushed. My goal is to help you understand your body, build confidence in movement, and make meaningful progress toward the activities that matter to you. Each plan is shaped around your concerns, your goals, and your real-life environment

Elisha N. Gulledge, PT, DPT, is a North Carolina native and graduate of East Carolina University. She earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Information Management and Health Services Management before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. With more than 15 years of experience as a physical therapist, Elisha has treated a wide range of pelvic health concerns across different ages and stages of life, including pregnancy and postpartum recovery, bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, orthopedic conditions, cancer-related concerns, and preparation for and recovery from surgery.

In addition to providing direct patient care, Elisha has helped develop pelvic health programs, mentored and trained other therapists, and worked to improve access to specialized care. Her experience has reinforced her belief that physical therapy should be personal, practical, and connected to the demands of everyday life. She founded Carolina Core Physical Therapy to provide individualized care through telehealth and in-home visits, giving patients the time, privacy, and support they need to better understand their bodies and work toward their goals.

Elisha lives in the Apex area with her husband, son, and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, drinking coffee, cheering on her children at their sporting events, and, most recently, playing on a women’s recreational soccer team.
